I hope everyone had an awesome New Years!  I was lucky enough to spend it with some good friends so that was definately a plus!  My friends Laura, Eric (EJ) and Bryan went to Valentinos and had a blast!  I posted some pics from New Years so check em out!!

So I get paid this Friday and have seriously 60 bucks till then due to a lot of bills that I have had come up.  This past Friday night I am laying on my couch watching tv and my mom is flipping thru a cook book and says:"Hey Dara.  Look what I found"  turns out in the cook book there is a christmas card from my uncle Lyle from last year with 100 bucks in it!!  So made my weekend!  How cool is that?  So I am not blowing it like I kinda want to, I am just kinda sitting on it till this weekend.  Yay!

So I talked to my friend Sara last night. Here is a little background on the situation.

I have known Sara for 3-4 years and we used to go out all the time for girls night out. I haven't hung out with her in so long and I was so excited when we had plans to go out the weekend of Thanksgiving. That Saturday I was waiting to hear from her to finalize our plans to go out downtown. I called her around 5 and she was like," I have been Christmas all day with my mom and my sister haven't gone to the bank yet and I don't have my TCF card cause that was stolen. I will call you in a bit." I never received a call from her but she did text me "I don't feel like going downtown tonight so I am going to pass." Ok this pissed me off cause she knew what we were doing that night. Sarah calls me a few days later and leaves a voice mail: "Hey I am sorry about this weekend; I was really tired from shopping all day on Saturday. I am free this weekend coming up. Let me know if you want to go out." I did talk to her and I told her, "You know I am not sure if this weekend will work as I might have plans. I will let you know if I am free." I never called her.
She has been trying to get a hold of me and I have not called her back because I am still annoyed and pissed at her about the whole fact of the matter. So anyways, last night I am home watching the real housewives of Orange County while I am on my computer flipping between Myspace and Facebook when Sara calls me.
"Hey, are you mad at me?"
"Yeah I am. I am really disappointed. You knew what we were going to do on Saturday. I dipped out on plans with my other friends because you and I had plans set. You first told me that you didn't go to the bank yet. Then you switched it to that you didn't feel like going downtown so you decided to cancel. Then you switched your story to that you were too tired. I am over it but it will take me a while to get over it."
The conversation ended with me basically saying talk to you later. Some nerve!! That just pisses me off when people do that kind of thing.
