Hope you had a fun Mother's Day weekend!  Mine started with staying home Friday night and catching up on Lost, which I missed last week.  I like the show, (notice I didn't say love) but I still need someone to watch it with me so I can ask, "Who was that?"  "Why did he do that?"  "What does that mean?"  MOST.  CONFUSING.  SHOW.  EVER.

Saturday, Carson had his first soccer game on his new team.  He played once three years ago and I coached his team even though I know nothing about soccer.  Why?  Cuz when they asked for a volunteer to be coach, the other parent actually got on their knees and used their hands to quickly burrow a hole into the ground to hide in to avoid getting asked to be coach.  I also coached Allison's soccer team when she was six.  I don't think we scored a goal all season but all the other parents just appreciated that someone besides them coached.

Last night we went to Treasure Island for The Naughty Hypnotist show.  Frank Santos Jr. was awesome.  We stayed up late and lost about 50 bucks playing slots then went to bed.  Ever fall asleep with a drink balanced on your chest, and when you nod off, it spills all over you and wakes your a** right up?  Yeah, me neither.

Today was Mother's Day and yesterday I tried sneaking Susan's three-year-old cell phone out to the Sprint store to get her a new one.  But she caught me and said, "No, the phone I want isn't out yet.  Just clean the basement for me for Mother's Day."  Done.  Cheap and easy.  And we took her to Timblerlodge for dinner.
