OMG! Blinky the Clown! I grew up in Erie, Colorado and watched his show too-- even went to a live taping of it when I was way little! Wow! I never would have remembered him if I hadn't seen this. Way to go Dave! Way cool! Cristen |

That is simply astounding, traveling hundreds of miles to meet a man you half expect to be dead with only a handshake in mind and to end up conversing for a some hours over breakfast? Age had gotten the best of him and yes he wasn't "the clown" you glorified over forty years ago, but if I was able to encounter my hero thirty years from now, as emphysema stricken as he may be, I would consider it no less of an achievement.
