The other day Dave Ryan talking about a guy he heard of that was answering phone calls as though he was a secret agent... and saying that he even knew Dave Ryan personally. Getting the hooked up on all sorts of concerts and things through Dave, and so on...

I found it interesting how who you know means so much to people! Often such a huge emphasis is put on networking and knowing people, that some will lie or embellish there connections to sound like they are more important. (Been guilty of that myself :)

So this is one asks themselves... who do I really know?

I bring this up, because while many use the connections for superficial talking and white smoke, you may not even know that someone is out there is really willing to help you along in whatever path you wish to take!

It may be Radio or Journalism... or Law School, or just getting your first bar tending job, pretty much anything! You probably know someone already that could offer you tons of help and guidance to get you where you want to go.

So don't sit around and think that you have no way to make it happen... get the word out to your family and friends and watch how quickly people are willing to get you a phone number, or give you some one's name that they know personally...

It's crazy the kind of support I've got just in the past few months for my career goals by trying this!

Oh and... I know Dave Ryan as well... I saw him at a gas station once and so now we're like best friends and stuff!
